Whispered secrets in the night
Hold many truths out of sight.
Darkness holds them safe, secure;
Beckoning to you with great allure.
Search the darkness until the dawn;
Struggle for wisdom, if it will be won.
Diligent work you must do on your own,
If to you the mysteries will be known.
Let you who hope to understand
Seek high and low throughout the land.
Let no other ease the toil ahead;
For you must strive on your own instead.
When the darkness has been explored
And the morning light has been restored,
Then shall you see the results you wrought,
And evermore cherish the secrets you sought.
